Greetings! My name is Isabella Ramirez, and I am a Graphic Design Student at Florida International University. I am a versatile artist specializing in graphic design, digital art, and illustration. I prefer bold and expressive designs, and I love creating fun and engaging illustrations about my favorite topics. My work can range from character illustrations to colorful pop posters, and I enjoy the digital medium.
My goal was to create a memorable and bold design to capture the attention of the viewer. When a passerby looks upon my design, I want them to think: “This is so cute, that poor manatee!” Manatees are a beloved and easily recognizable animal native to our natural ecosystem, and sadly, are greatly endangered. I believe that by tugging on the public’s heartstrings with a cute design, it will cause them to reflect on how our pollution affects these animals. Cuteness is very powerful in the world of graphic design. The phrase, “No Tins in My Fins,” is meant to be a memorable quote. It’s a quick and easy rhyme and conveys the message of pollution negatively impacting wildlife.
