Hello, my name is Rania Brown. I enjoy creating poster designs and works that carry symbolic meanings or connections. I also like to experiment with my design style and explore new creative directions.
Artist Statement
Littering in Florida harms our storm drains and water quality. I used a crushed plastic cup pouring out critters like rats and flies to show how trash pollutes our water. The slogan “If you litter, we drink critters” highlights this impact. The design’s gritty style reinforces the theme, with adapted translations in Spanish and Haitian Creole. I created the stencil using Procreate and Illustrator.
