Artist Statement
I want to portray the message that there is pure (life), like sea animals, and pureness below the storm drain. The design features a raindrop, representing rain and purity that should enter our waterway. The heart symbolizes life and care. The heart also looks like an arrowhead that pinpoints the storm drain. The heart and the water convey that every drop and action leaves a ripple/impact on our ecosystems and our lifeblood.
