For this project, I wanted to focus on the pollution that
affects marine life. I began by thinking about animals
that are local to Miami, Florida, and the first ones that
came to mind were manatees and alligators. I ultimately
chose the manatee to be the focus of my design. Using a
silhouette of the manatee, I incorporated bits of trash
inside it to emphasize the impact of pollution on marine
life.
